About the programme
The education programme leading to a partial qualification as a care worker in institutional and community care for older and infirm people is delivered through regular classes over 775 hours. The theoretical component takes place on the College premises, with the option of live online delivery.
The practical component takes place at a construction company with which the College has a business cooperation agreement, under the guidance of a mentor.
Upon successfully passing the final assessment, each participant receives a Certificate of Training, which is recorded in their electronic employment record.
Entry requirements
completed primary education, at least 18 years of age, an occupational health medical certificate for work as a care worker in institutional and community care for older and infirm people
